Introduction: I have a Master of Music in percussion from the Boston Conservatory. I have been playing percussion and drums for 20 years, performing professionally for 12 years and teaching for 7 years. I have performed and taught in many different countries and won international and national awards and competitions. The past 5 years I have been teaching in the Boston area and NYC in several arts and afterschool programs teaching kids 5 to 18 years old as well as adults of any ages. I enjoy seeing my students excitment and curiosity to learn, and the progress they make. I also like when some of them express how music and drums serves as an outlet of expression.

Reyna taught me beginner drum lessons. She's a very skilled and patient teacher. Without being overly critical, she taught me the importance of technique but also managed to keep pushing me to challenge myself learning new beats.

Reyna is an experienced, attentive and fun drumming instructor, in addition to being an accomplished percussion artist. She is helping me to live out my childhood dream of learning to play the drums. I have worked with her the past two years and could not recommend her more highly.
