FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is as consistent as possible although each project is different and requires more or less time and tools.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is to discuss the specific needs of the client. This can be done in person, via telephone, or email. For websites, I typically begin with template. I'll submit several working samples to the client for their review. Once a template is selected, I begin customizing the content, forms and functionality to suit the client's specific needs. As the client's website takes shape they can monitor the progress on a preview site. I ask for input during this process to assure I'm building what the client wants. Upon project completion, I will ask the client to sign off on the project to indicate their satisfaction. I then turn the site over to the client by transferring hosting, domain name, etc. Optionally, I walk the client through the steps involved in making minor edits to the site. At the client's request, I can continue to modify the site after it has been turned over as needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice with 5 years experience in digital evidence collection, cyber threat identification, and system administration. I am a CFE (Certified Forensic Examiner) and hold a Network Plus Certification as well. I have been building websites for over 20 years and I typically code websites using PHP, Javascript, MySQL, HTML, MotoCMS, as well as other platforms.
