FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our labor costs for a majority of our services offered are broken down into an hourly cost to the customer. Unlike many other companies, we provide materials with no mark up, excluding delivery. When you receive an estimate, you will see we provide pricing for the longest the project should take. The estimate you receive is a final price, but if the job is completed in less time than estimated the final invoice will be adjusted accordingly. In doing this, we become able to guarantee a maximum cost to the customer, eliminating hidden and additional fees. Any change orders to the original bid will be filed in a separate contract with a separate price for the add on or change.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been employed, trained, by several landscape and lawn care companies. Worked as foreman for lawn maintenance company. Currently enrolled in Rutgers Classes for the following certifications: Landscape Management I & II Turfgrass Management Landscape Business Management
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
At age 12, my best friend and I were looking for ways to start making money. After much deliberation, we settled on mowing lawns in the neighborhood. We hit the ground running and landed a couple of lawns to cut weekly. We began with small push mowers and with the help of "loans" from our parents we added tools to our collection and broadened our services. After 4 years, my best friend and business partner left the company in order to go to college and follow other career options. As I continued to grow over the next 2 years I began offering my services outside of my neighborhood. After saving money up I bought a truck and trailer and was working all over Somerset County. From there and to this day, I have continued to broaden our services, expand the business, and have worked to provide a better service to both our current and new customers.
