- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?As noted on my website, standard pricing for a weeks worth of meals for 2 people (for 5 weekdays) runs $375. However, my service is custom to the client. An example would be that maybe someone may only need or wish to have 3 or 4 meals for the week. My prices for meals and events are competitive with other personal chefs with my credentials.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?It is important that a conversation about what the customer is looking for in detail occurs. Often the customer isn't really sure what they want or of the details involved in an event, a cooking class or custom meals. Sometimes a person has never done any of the services I offer before. That is where my fourteen years of experience comes in. I also have the customer fill out a detailed questionnaire for meals or an event. I then review the questionnaire and we talk about the information provided so I am clear on their likes/dislikes and wishes. Communication is key in any relationship.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a graduate of the United States Personal Chef Association (USPCA).
