Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: As a graduate of the ICM (Tel Aviv) and the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music I have played at various ensembles, adopting (and adapting to) many musical approaches and styles, including jazz, blues, rock, classical, and more. I have played at well known venues and festivals in New York, and around the world (Red Sea Jazz Festival, Williamsburg Music Center, Nublu), and with renowned artists such as Jimmy Cobb, Reggie Workman, Matt Wilson, to name a few. I currently lead a group that plays my original compositions, and play as a sideman in various projects, and one of my greatest joys in music is teaching. I've taught both privately and in conservatories, since 2010. I teach students of all ages and levels. And my lessons are always personalized to each student's taste and learning tendencies. My lessons include: fundamentals, developing a beautiful tone, reading, repertoire (jazz/pop/rock/classical/more), improvisation, ear training, composition, recital/audition preparation, and more. I'm also always happy to assist you with buying/renting an instrument to start your journey with, and I have one spare alto saxophone that I can offer you until you get your hands on a horn. I love working with people, finding out with a student how analogous music is to other art forms and other areas in life in general, and sharing the excitement of overcoming a challenge or doing something creative for the first time. You're welcome to check out my website and contact me for more info. Hope to hear from you, Sagi

Learning with sagi has been a great experience. He is a very talented musician, and it makes him all the more a special teacher with a unique view of developing a style of your own, in case you are a progressed student, and in case you are a beginner, he has so many interesting ideas and exercises and it makes his lessons fun and engaging. I really enjoyed the lessons and I also learned a great deal of ways to make my practice at home more interesting and creative. And he is also very kind and generous. In short, I highly recommend him:)

Sagi is a wonderful teacher who's calm and soothing nature brings the best out of you. His masterful control of the instrument and his deep understanding has kept me curious, motivated, and in constant progress. I learned a lot from him about saxophone (and some about life as well).

Sagi is a wonderful saxophone teacher: patient, knowledgeable, and supporting. With his guidance, I went from not knowing how to hold a saxophone to playing some of my favorite popular tunes, in a matter of weeks. I look forward to continuing my weekly (and always fun) lessons with him, and to reaching my goals with the saxophone.

I have been taking private saxophone lessons from Sagi since April. In a matter of few weeks, I've gone from not being able to know how to hold the alto sax correctly to playing some tunes and reading music. While teaching, he is patient and focused. He is also flexible with scheduling lessons. I would highly recommend him.
