Introduction: I am a professional jazz upright bass player who has record release from a major european label with all originally written music. I provide professional/ intermidiate bass lessons to beginner guitar/piano lessons as well as composition/ theory lessons. My musical interest is most versatile that anyone could have, i love from classical music, jazz, rock, metal and electronic music....many things! so i could hold very good conversations with any music lover! graduated from Berklee College of music in 2011. i find that efficient way for students learning their instrument is to connect with the love/favorite of their music. i start from there, to learn songs that they know very well and gradually build it with techniques and other things.

Dejavu music is great!! They played for my wedding and it was such a great vibe. They knew all the hit songs that we loved and they could play any kind of genre that we requested from jazz, pop, motown, etc. I recommended them to my other friends and also I'm gonna call them again for my birthday party!!! :) such a great band.

i haven't played piano for more than 10 years and forgot everything i learned as a kid... but lim helped me so much. still need a lot of practice but i really think she has easier way to communicate to work in music. highly recommend!

i charge extra travel time when l have to travel to students. usually $10 more, depends on how far.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
i discuss with student in the beginning where he/she wants to focus on learning an instrument. everyone has different goals and interest and its important to talk about it rather than just practice same books.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
bachelor's degree from Berklee college of music in 2011
