Over the years Waterbury Tile has installed ceramic tile in various areas of the houses I've lived in. The quality is superb. These guys have done this all their lives. They have great attention to detail that is rarely seen these days and they are very personable.Nov 11, 2015

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Most tile jobs are charged by the sq ft. Some jobs such as a kitchen back splash is charged per the job and is very dependent on a number of things. There are also many additional things that will add to the cost, for instance any demo work, any leveling of concrete floors prior to tile install, installation of backer boards in a shower or subfloor. Any additional fees are thoroughly discussed prior to any work being performed. It is rare that we have to change an estimate during a job.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Usually it starts with a phone call, to discuss job description. Then a job site visit to meet the customer, take measurements, view the work desired, go over ideas ect. Then we get back to customer within 24hrs with a price quote and options on where to pick tile out.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?Family run business since 1948. I guess it's in my family genes. My dad, his dad, and my uncle as well.
