Michaela’s Violin Players

Introduction: ABOUT My name is Michaela Player and I have been playing the violin for 21 years and am very passionate about music! I am originally from the Kansas City area and have been living in Colorado for a little over 2 years. My violin career began at a young age of 4, taking private lesson until the age of 18. Through this time I was also member of the Kansas City Youth Symphony for 10 years, the Olathe Symphony for 4 years, the Broomfield Symphony for 1 year, and a quintet for 4 years. I have also taught private violin lessons for 6 years and have played solo at many events from weddings, to fundraisers to funerals. Although music is not my full time career, it is my passion and I would love to share my love for music with you! PRIVATE LESSONS I have taught many younger students throughout my time as a high school and college student back in Kansas where I am originally from. My preferred method of teaching is the Suzuki Method. Students will use the method of repetition and memorization to polish many pieces of music through a series of 10 progressing books. Not only are private music lessons fun, but from my experience they also help children grow in many other ways! I would love to get to know you, as a student with a meet and greet to discuss your goals as a musician prior to your first lesson. I would love to meet with all students prior to beginning lessons to ensure your comfortability with me and my plan for you as a growing musician. SOLO VIOLIN EVENTS One of my favorite parts of being a solo violinist is getting to know my client as friends (if desired) and making your special events that much more personal to you and your guests! The beauty of a solo violinist is in the tone and volume the violin speaks on its own. I am more than willing to play any song or piece at your event as long as violin sheet music is available for the requested piece. We can look into this together up front before any agreements are made. Since my violin is loud on its own, I do not have a mic set up at this time. If a mic and speakers are required for your event please have these available at your venue. I am also glad to talk through all logistics ahead of time.
