- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start with an initial consultation which will give you immediate and practical training advise. We will get you started on the path to a well behaved dog!!!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Linda Guidry has been coaching and competitive in dog sports for over 40 years. I have trained hundreds of dogs to be enjoyable well behaved companions. I enjoy teaching and I want you to have the best relationship possible with your dog! My extensive experience training in competitive dog sports and coaching handlers has taught me how to get results. I even developed a specialized puppy imprinting program for upper level competitive sport dogs. I have also trained several horses in various activities and currently trained the only gaited horse to have passed the very difficult Wrangler program of LSU. I am also active in supporting the local 4 H master horseman program with volunteer work. This diverse background in real world and sport performance canines has made me a well rounded trainer with an extensive knowledge of many methods . I'd love to apply this knowledge to you and your pet.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I have recently taught my current horse the advanced maneuvers of several trainers and am also continuing education in my field of animal training by attending many seminars and classes .
