FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication with my client is extremely important . I want to ensure I am providing my client with the best possible service and that they are completely satisfied with the end result. If this is a bridal service, I suggest to come to my retail location for a free consultation where we can meet in person and they can express the type of look they would like and bring images as well. I recommend we then book a trial (preferably at my retail location ) . Then for the wedding day I can travel to the brides location or the can come to me , whichever they prefer .
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a store manager for MAC cosmetics in Phoenix and Los Angeles. I regularly attended and facilitated many makeup classes, from everyday makeup techniques to bridal to special effects . I be sure to keep in touch and learn from other PRO makeup artists in the industry so that I am always on top of the current trends and techniques.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started as a makeup artist 14 years ago in NYC while attending art school. I loved doing makeup for my peers photo shoots and film projects . From there, I had a long career with MAC cosmetics as a store manger in Phoenix and Los Angeles. However I have experience with other lines such as Estée Lauder, Elizabeth Arden and now have my own business working with Bellapierre cosmetics and Motives .
