- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For painting, I bid by square footage of areas to be painted, which is very competitive with the current market. For fixture installations, I have a standard pricing structure for whatever is being installed. like ceiling fans, chandeliers, faucets, toilets, water heaters, etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Listening to customers needs with clear communication. Explain the scope of work to be done and a close estimate of time allowed to complete the job. Schedule the work so that it is convenient for the the customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a Veteran, I was in the Navy Seabees construction battalion. I worked for a major paint supplier for 15 years as a representative assisting contractors with painting and coatings needs, handling complaints as necessary, and assisting with product recommendations. Have been doing handyman work for the past 20 years.
