This is a honest rating of my experience and the services received. I believe when you are hired to do a job for a person and you set the price on how much you will charge, you should complete the job as agreed upon, and provide the best quality that you can from start to finish. Based on this belief, my experience with them was terrible. I hired them to build a fence around the house, clean up the landscaping, and haul away the trash from around the house. There was a problem with each service. I was told it would be only a 1-2 day job when I hired them, but it lasted a whole 7 days. The very first day, they were 7 hours late starting on the job. I actually had to call them 2 hours after the agreed upon start time to see where they were at. I was told by Austin that he was just waking up, it was raining where he was, and he didnt want to call me because I was probably sleeping. My thoughts were, it isn't raining at all over here, but you should have called if you are scheduled to be somewhere and you arent there. They showed up 5 hours after I got off the phone with him. They started with the landscaping and was doing a good job with it, but halfway through they decided it was something they didn't want to deal with any longer. They asked me to take that portion of the service and pay off the deal to make it easier for them. Initially, the landscaping was a job I had told them I hired someone else to do, but they insisted on letting them do it, so that was horrible to have to go back and hire the guy againg. With them stopping the work on the landscaping that work was halfway completed. Next, was the building of the fence. They started building the fence nicely, however there were multiple things that we discussed as part of the service which were not done initially. I had to go out and talk to Austin about these things we agreed to and he told me he didn't remember us agreeing to them, but would see what he could do. The fence work came out good besides the stability. The gates were put together badly and I am very disappointed in that. His words to me were he got "lazy" and "tired" of being on the job working on the fence. The gates were not leveled, the locations of where I wanted the gates to start was not considered and all of the posts were not secured into the ground with nearly enough concrete to withstand a strong force or swinging of a gate. It got to the point where I got tired of telling him to correct the issues and having to argue with him at my house. I have now taken up the gate myself, and begun reworking it to make it sufficiently stable and level. The last thing he was supposed to do was remove all of the trash. He got up about half the trash from the yard and told me he wasnt taking anymore because his truck was full. We agreed to him removing all of the trash, not just one or two truck loads of trash. (He also made more work by knocking down my deck that I wanted to keep and he was NOT suppose to break down.) I had to literally argue with him about what we agreed on for the trash and how the job wasnt complete. He told me, "I don't care, I'm not coming back here. You can take some money off for that portion too." Overall, I wish I hadn't used his services. However, if you choose to use himthis is the advice I would have liked to know beforehand: 1. Write everything down you want done and have it signed so you can reference it later. 2. Be ready for the quailty of work to drop as time goes on for the project. 3. Remember you are paying for a complete service, so it should be completed when you hand over any of your money. Good luck
