Introduction: I believe my job is more than just snapping shots. By becoming emotionally invested in my couples, I allow them to feel true authentic, and romantic moments that make their wedding unique. Capturing those moments allows me to freeze time and create memories that will last a lifetime. To God be the glory, I started this photography journey in 2010 and look forward to many more years to come.
I am a BIG daddy's girl and I cry every time a dad, with teared filled eyes, sees his little girl dressed in her wedding gown. I adore watching a nervous bride blossom as she sees a sneak peek of her image on my camera display. My heart literally skips a beat as I see the glowing smile of a groom as he sees his bride for the first time.

Joy is amazing! She goes above and beyond to make sure she gets the right shot; including lying on the grass if need be. She arrives early to each venue to scope out the best places to take pictures. She's always very professional and a beautiful woman of God. Her work speaks for itself. You will be happy you hired her to take your pictures.

What a treat to have our family photo shoot taken by Joyful Portrait! Joy's love for photography is obvious throughout the entire transaction and her delight at capturing the "perfect moment" made our session a very pleasant experience.
