Introduction: I have over 25 years experience as a chef.. I trained through The American Culinary Federation and owned The Mustard Seed Cafe in Ball Ground, Georgia for ten years. I also worked as food editor/chef for North Georgia Living Magazine for five years. I can prepare foods for people with dietary restrictions as well. I enjoy sharing what I have learned about cooking with others. I take pride in my work and enjoying making others happy by sharing my cooking skills.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Once being contacted by client, I will custom design a menu for their event. Then follow up with emails or phone calls to work out all the details about their event.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I completed a three year apprenticeship program through The American Culinary Federation. I owned a restaurant for ten years and now have owned a private chef/cooking lesson business.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I began cooking at home at a young age after watching the women in my family cook as well as Julia Child and other chefs cook on television. As and adult, I decided to train to become a chef.
