FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge an hourly rate of $20 per hour. Our initial 15-30 minute conversation is free, as it is a conversation to see if I can meet your needs. Afterwards, any tutoring, conversations, and lessons will be the length of an hour and charged. Any work on my end, such a resume design, editing, or proofreading will be billed at an hourly rate. I will always do my due diligence and work efficiently and charge you fairly!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I connect with someone who would like to work with me, I prefer to have an initial conversation (between 15-30 minutes) to discuss the needs of the client. In that time, we will address the client's specific situation and need, decide how I can help, and take the next steps towards accomplishing the goal, such as scheduling sessions, deciding which skills to develop, etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a credentialed secondary English teacher in the state of California. Previously, I was a high school English teacher who earned his credential under the new Common Core Standards. All of my curriculum and instruction was developed under Common Core, so I am well-versed in the needs of students in the modern classroom. I am also able to teach the writing skills that are necessary for those seeking employment, such as resume writing, cover letters, etc.
