What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Open Door Policy, I am open to phone calls, texts, emails, skype, facebook. Basically go over the clients needs and figure out how my services can best help them. I provide examples of my work and take in as much question and answers to make them feel comfortable with the process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors in Film Production with a minor in Photography as well as a Associates degree in Graphic Design. With over 16 years of video production experience working with TV networks from around the country.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I became a video producer in college working in a television station. Soon I gained enough experience and started to get hired by the college doing more and more work.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with individuals, companies, and television stations providing video content.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I currently produce a weekly dirt track racing show with Lucas Oil Speedway. I also produce Powerboat Video's for a local boat dealership. Like all video projects we try and produce the show in a pretty timely matter.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask for references and examples of work.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Try and figure out what you want to convey in your video, then let the video producer come up with ways in order to make that happen. Depending on the what the customer is requesting.
