Introduction: I teach a balanced seat based on dressage principles. ADVANCED PATH, Intl., certified, for disabled AND able-bodied. Horse training and Boarding, and a very active Mendon Pony Club, also are based here at NBF. We have a bright indoor and two outdoor riding spaces (soon to be three). VERY reasonable prices, owner on site. I love producing horses and riders who work to their fullest potential, even through physical or mental challenges! I have eight highly-schooled horses and ponies of all sorts for riders without their own... or trailer in for a session. Our teams, when ready, go on outings with us to schooling shows, Special Olympics, etc. We host two ribboned shows at home each year.

Bethesda Farms is a very well kept secret but more should know...it is warm, welcoming and calm, not a lot of drama. Lots of different folks ride there. The farm is well maintained and the horses love their farm. Everyone is well mannered and well taken care of. Megan is excellent with people and horses. She will work with you wherever you are on the learning curve. She is thorough and very easy to understand with her instructions. It is a pleasure to ride at the farm.

Megan Malan, is a kind, dedicated and talented rider & trainer. I thoroughly enjoy taking riding lessons, with Megan, at her farm. She has helped me grow as a rider and inspires me to continue to work hard to achieve my goals. They have many wonderful lesson horses and provide riders with opportunities to attend/participate in clinics and shows. I recommend Megan, to both beginner and advanced riders.

I have only started the process to meet for consultation. I didn't have good vibes with the person. Snappy and short temper. However, I did schedule a consultation but going to cancel it for that reason. Not a safe environment for my child. Thank you

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
FREE short evaluation for first session, if here on the farm. Off-farm, first lesson will be charged normal fee, whether private or group lesson. Client's goals and hopes are discussed; after evaluation, a frank and kind assessment from myself is provided as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
-- Special Olympics Equestrian registered Coach -- PATH, Intl.
