What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
One 60 - 90 second video optimized for a single or targeted set of keywords is $249.
For those who want to maintain fresh content on social media and such we have a weekly video option. $497 per month gives you fresh optimized video content every week for your social media postings and/or syndication network. Provide us a list of desired keywords to target and we will cycle through them with a new target each week.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) Layout and design
A large and time consuming part of designing a website is in the planning and layout stage of the process. I’ll create the sitemap (Page/Menu hierarchy) of the website for approval first, then I’ll design the home page and a sub page (or more upon request) for approval.
Once the site layout and design is approved, I’ll move forward finishing all site pages and implementing functions and plugins. We’ll make sure your site looks great and functions nicely across all devices and web browsers before moving to the final step.
3) Edits & Revisions
This is the testing and tweaking phase. Once the site is ready for final review, you’ll be able to review each page and we can make detailed edits until the site is ready for launch. We ask that you please review ALL pages to make sure all spelling, grammar, addresses and information are correct before going live.
Videos: I will prepare a watermarked demo for you to approve and deliver the actual video in mp4 and webm format upon payment. (Unless I am managing your YouTube channel. Then I will also add it in to your silo structured playlists where appropriate).
What types of customers have you worked with?
It was never intended but most of my regular clients are either attorneys or other agency's that do promotions for attorneys.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don't start a project in a particular format and then try to find someone to finish it. Web designers all have favorite tools to get their projects done correctly and on time. It's faster for us and often cheaper for you if we just do it all from the beginning.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
How prepared are you to move forward? Do you have at least a rough idea of what you want? Do you have the text and pictures ready for your mission statement, about us, company history or any other parts of the site you want to include? Do you or an employee need to be able to update the site regularly? What special extras might you want, for instance, online appointment setting, calendaring, tap to call (for mobile). If you are selling something online do you need to get info from your customer to process the order (for instance their logo if you offer embroidery services). The clearer a picture you can paint from the beginning of your websites intention, and any business processes it will need to perform, the better your end result will be.
