- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once I have been hired to perform a home inspection, I will work closely with my client and Realtor to schedule the inspection. I will explain to my client what is involved and my process of inspecting your new home. I ask the client to be present at the inspection so I can explain what I found in person and to go over any questions the client my have.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I first worked for a construction company as the office manage, but was soon promoted to a field project manager to over see the reconstruction / renovation of homes that were damaged due to water, fire or storms. I learned from the inside out on how a home should be constructed. I also am a member of InterNACHI and I am required to complete 24 hours of continuing education each year.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of my home inspections are performed for the home buyer. The demand for specific experience is growing day by day. I have also done inspections for the home owner who needs to know what may or may not be wrong with their home prior to putting the home on the market.
