For notarizing a document you will need a valid photo ID (a second form of ID it is appreciated), and type of certification. For filing taxes you will need a valid photo ID, previous tax return, it will be helpful, all your W2s, business and rental property information (earnings, spending, mileage log book, repairs etc.
