From New Wave to pop, dance and rock, Kids in America specializes in recreating visually and delivering musically all of your favorite 80s hits. Originating in Charlotte NC, Kids In America is comprised of 6 professional, hard-working, powerhouse musicians who share their love for all things 80's. High energy, melodic harmonies, colors, teased hair and spandex are all part of a typical show. Kids in America brings the total 80's experience from the stage to the audience. Available for all events, corporate events, weddings, festivals, theaters and concert halls. We do all variety of 80s music from Madonna, Prince, Michael Jackson, Bruce, Pat Benatar, Journey, Heart, Blondie, John Cougar, Guns N Roses, Poison, Bon Jovi, Duran Duran, Men at work, Cyndi Lauper and lots, lots more. We take lots of pride in sounding like the original artist.

I have had great experiences with music bands, but hiring a really good one can be hit or miss. Mike and his band are an exceptional group. They are accommodating and their music quality and showmanship is superior in the Charlotte area. They are an amazing band that really knows how to put on a show. Their set list and it's arrangement really gets the crowd going. At music festivals, the age range of the crowd is huge and everyone there is having a great time; young and old. They are a family friendly band so there's no controversy or liability with this group. It's just pure fun and absolutely the best entertainment.

I can not get this raving review written fast enough!!!!! We selected Kids in America for our December 2nd company Christmas party....so glad we did! Our very first contact was with Mike the drummer. He was so friendly and willing to answer questions about how to plan and progress. When party time arrived they were courteous and professional Their set up was like clockwork. What a selection of music! They were amazing to watch because it was a show!! That really met our needs because folks in our company do not always know each other. Once folks got comfortable they were up on there feet dancing. You will be so happy with this band. They are amazing! USE THEM!!!! Julie Woodie Charlotte,NC

This band is spot on with the 80s tunes!! Every time I hear them it brings back great memories. Love that I can sing along with those songs again!! Very crowd friendly!!! Tonight they performed in Monroe on Main Street. Boy did they make a bunch of new fans!!Keep Rockin!!! Love you guys and gal!!!

Just saw them in Statesville. Our 9 year old is in love with 80's and he had such a great time. Just wish we could've heard some Michael Jackson (maybe next time) Thanks for a totally radical concert!!
