Introduction: My goal is to revamp the health, confidence, and motivation of my clients. Whatever your goals, I will make your job easier to achieve by providing attainable steps to reach them. In addition to providing research-based dietary advice, I will create a plan geared towards your busy lifestyle. My general process is this: First, I will gather information on your current lifestyle and eating habits. This is a learning process for me to help you the best I can. Second, I will assist you in adding nutrient-dense foods that give sustenance, destroying cravings for trigger foods, and reducing the consumption of harmful ingredients. With this, you will have the knowledge to choose foods that will fuel your body with confidence, to gain confidence in your health. At the same time, you will reap all the benefits from healthy foods that will bring you to your goals. I like to meet with clients every three weeks for at least three sessions to monitor progress. After our initial meeting, of course, the choice is your whether or not to continue with follow-up sessions. In a follow-up session, seeing the benefits of someone's health with my own eyes is what I find most rewarding. It makes me incredibly happy to provide someone with the tools for better health and body confidence along the way.

Liza has both a degree in Nutrition, and a knowledge of holistic health education, which enables her to provide her clients with a well-rounded, informative approach to being a healthier individual. She has given me knowledge on harmful foods and food additives to avoid that contribute to disease and a host of health concerns. She has changed my whole outlook on food and I am very grateful for the drastic improvement in the way I feel!

Liza is both non-judgemental and understanding which makes her a great nutritionist. Because of her, I have realized that I've been looking at food wrong all along. I was worried this process would be overwhelming for me, but Liza gives you easy ways to ween yourself off the harmful junk and incorporate whole foods instead. After years of yo-yo dieting, I am proud to say I'm now at my goal weight and have been for the last 9 months!

I was thrilled to have the opportunity to have Liza council me about my less than perfect eating habits. I was worried about my prediabetes turning into diabetes. But with her help, my doctor said my blood sugar levels were doing much better than the last time I got tested. I have more energy, and can't wait to keep working with Liza to improve my heath!

    I have a Bachelors degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Rhode Island and continuously research new discoveries in the field of health and nutrition.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I fell in love with food science and health back in high school. I stayed up late researching diet trends and scanning health articles for any information on how to eat the best I could to fuel my body. In addition to helping myself, I began giving advice on what I was learning to friends and family. It simply felt right to be helping those around me with their eating challenges from addictive eating behavior to self-esteem issues. I thrive on making people as healthy as they are willing to allow. This is what I can promise to you.
