FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I can guarantee you it’s nothing like at a doctor’s office. I just need your contact information and details of the problem/job so I can proceed. Just remember though, "details" is important here; the more specific you are regarding the problem/job the more efficient I can be in diagnosing/completing it.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
For most computer work, choosing a local provider over a big box store, not only can save you time and money, but can also foster long-term relationships. This is because the interaction is usually more one-on-one and direct than a typical box store that caters more to the public; and having a “friend in the business” is always a good thing. Also, local technicians are typically much more negotiable and flexible with their rates and ability to work around obstacles, where others may be reluctant because of strict policies. Attentiveness is also usually greater with a local technician, because many of us, like myself, are the technician/owner of the business, so you as the client are dealing directly with management, not just a worker behind a counter. Lastly, remember that when you decide to go with a local provider, you’re helping the little guy...there’s no shame in that!
