Laura was very prompt with all communication relating to our special day. She had many conversations and exchanged samples of moments we expected to have captured. She evened showed us the equipment she would use for the day. She was prompt on the day of and made adjustments when things did not go as planned on her side to not effect US. Her organization kept us on schedule for the day. Her attention to detail captured an amazing wedding! Laura made extra effort to reach out to us after the wedding to follow up that everything went as expected. She has continued to work on our edits and has not needed any follow up from us, she has been on point from the initial conversation, to the contract, the payment schedule, our ideas and expectations, some ideas she had, to the day of execution, to the final product. Her website is easy to navigate and her quality pictures are exceptional quality.

Laura took photos for my maternity and newborn shoots and was great. I was especially impressed with how she handled my daughter- she's a baby whisperer. My daughter wouldn't sleep on her back for me but Laura arranged her in any way she wanted with no fuss...it was amazing to watch. The photos turned out precious. Had a very good experience!

I love The Creative Shutter! Laura is very professional, fun, and versatile. She can do any type of event. With my family particularly, she has done my modeling, my maternity, my baby shower, and my baby photo shoots. She has tons of ideas, can bring props, and lets me know what works and what doesn't. She edits and sends the pictures quickly, and I cannot be happier. I will definitely continue using The Creative Shutter for all my events.

Lauren Turner as we all know, has done some amazing things with her camera but to see her work in a room full of people is awe inspiring. She works well will managing shots and group photos. Crowd control at a wedding is like wrangling cats so its something to be said about someone who can manage a whole mirage of bridesmaids. We worked together on a wedding here in MD and I honestly couldn’t recommend her more as a first shooter or portrait photographer!!! Amazing photos, on time, came with full gear and a smile to go with her “get it done” attitude. Would highly recommend.

Laura is absolutely wonderful, she has this personality that just eases my daughter in front of the camera... She just responds to her. Her patience and her eye for quality is amazing. Laura has done my daughter's profession model portfolio as well as attended many of my fashion events, photographed them, worked with my models for spring and fall lookbooks and does all my profession photos for my boutique. She is well rounded & an absolute pleasure and so much fun to work with. I can not express how much I recommend her, she just has this amazing gift.
