- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process is pretty simple and straight-forward. Once a new customer hires us to complete a project they're email an assessment form, invoice and service agreement. Once those documents are returned we get to work. Turnaround is typically 2-3 days depending on our client's needs. Once the work is concluded we ask all clients to rate our service.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked creating and rewriting resumes for over 15 years. I have a background in human resources so I am uniquely qualified to translate a ho-hum resume into a document that recruiters salivate over. We also have a licensed therapist on staff who helps to sync our assessments with the tone and style of the resume so that each document edifies the individual without making them sound "fake" or like they copied a resume from the internet. Together we offer a balanced professional resume and cover that opens most doors.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was unemployed. I was skilled. And I couldn't get the time of day from a recruiter, HR rep or even temporary work service. I discovered that my cookie cutter resume was being ignored by software made to scan for keywords. When I did get to an actual person my resume didn't fit my demeanor or way of communicating. I started researching and found that a great resume had several components. This led me into nearly two decades of work on the subject.
