Introduction: I provide live music for weddings, parties, and events tailored to your tastes, whether solo or with a string quartet. It is my view that those who perform must also teach. I take pride in approaching each lesson and student on an individual basis, and working with them to achieve their goals, whether the cello is a fun pastime or serious passion.
Both performing and teaching are acts of communication. I enjoy providing audiences with an authentic musical experience, whether it's in the concert hall or the backdrop to a party, reception, or wedding. Likewise, I love getting to know each of my students, and following their progress as cellists and people.

Alex was a pleasure to work with. I found him to be communicative, mature, and highly expressive and technically outstanding as a musician. He played cello in a dance piece I created for a professional dancer from abroad. We both felt that was excellent in the process and performance. I recommend him to anyone, anywhere, anytime.

I hired Alex and his string quartet for a series of audio and video recording sessions, and my group was especially thrilled with Alex for his impassioned playing and the eager, positive attitude he brought to each session. Alex, is a very responsible person, excellent cellist and musician.He was a counselor for me at my cello camp this summer, I found him to be helpful as a teacher, coach, counselor. He was willing to help with just about anything that needed to be done.
