FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our design rate works out to $60 an hour. A typical logo design runs between $180 - $500, a tri-fold brochure ranges between $360 - $500, rack cards and post cards are usually around $90, just as an example. Very simple or non-creative projects are $40 - $50 and hour. PowerPoint varies widely, and we do offer a free quote on your project, whether it's a quick cleanup (we often do those for under $200) or a full presentation from your provided outline, which can run over $1,200. We offer a 15% discount if you send us a referral that works out, and we do give our long-term clients etter rates and often don't charge for rush projects or odd hours. We are proudly US-based, and do not send work to cheap overseas labor.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A phone call or email discussion about the work involved is usually enough. I'll follow up with a proposal estimate, and we do request a 50% deposit for first-time clients. If the job has a tight turnaround or is inexpensive. we will require a full up-front payment of the estimate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Communications from the University of South Florida, and 30 years of design experience in a corporate communications setting and as a freelance firm.
