Introduction: I provide personalized service to my clients. I am known for my attention to detail and my affordable designs. Because I am detail oriented, I prefer the "smaller" and more personal weddings and events. I have over 20 years experience in the floral design industry. I previously owned a retail shop, but prefer to focus on event florals. I do one event per day, so that I may give my clients my undivided attention. I love color and I love flowers. I absolutely love creating beautiful floral arrangements and delighting my clients. Nothing makes me happier than seeing them happy!

I worked with Laura for numerous New Year's Eve celebrations at my home. Initially I would provide Laura with a theme that she executed with so much creativity that in recent years I have asked her to surprise me. This year the outcome was beautiful and set the tone for a happy celebration. The tables wore turquoise sequins and the flowers had whimsical colorful feather plumes. Laura is a delight to work with. She is responsible, reliable, creative and totally responsive to our needs.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am new to Thumbtack. Typically, I enjoy meeting the client in person. I like to get a sense of personality and expectations. With dialogue, I can offer my suggestions and ideas.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
In 1994, I got a job as a floral assistant at an upscale shop. Two years later, I bought the business. The training I received from two talented designers allowed me to expand and grow my business. I sold the retail business after several years to focus on parties and weddings, which I love.
