FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Unlike many contractors, each job I perform is priced, based on the variables. Every job is unique in its own set of circumstance and I believe they all deserve to be treated individually. On the topic of discounts, I will take into consideration the personal aspects of the customer. Elderly, fixed income, disabled.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In this type of work, it's usually better to get an eye on the job before actually showing up to work. It's helpful in the way that, when we walk in, we already have a plan, we have our materials on hand, and we're ready to begin immediately... all the discussion about the job has already taken place.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Education/Training... early in life I did my 4-year apprenticeship in the Carpenters Union. In my 35 years I have acquired more certifications than I can count...Everything from operating equipment to welding, from CFC's to CPR, from lead paint, to mold remediation. Most importantly, I have over 35 years of tools in my hands-on experience.
