FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge $17-37 per lesson depending on the lesson package. Our lessons are 50 minutes in length. Compared to other teachers in the Capital District, we are competitively priced and offer more value for the money.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It is important that students feel comfortable with us and in our space, so we invite new students to a free introduction session. During this session, we zero in on the students' goals and discuss how Peak Music can help them become the musician they want to be. We have a strong student-centered approach - from how we teach to when we schedule lessons. We realize that coming to lessons for the first time, or even asking about them, is a personal experience. We try to make it fun, low stress and interesting. We won't invite students to join our studio unless we are certain we can help them achieve their goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are education and music specialists. Between the two owners and our staff, we have a PhD., three master's degrees, a master certificate in guitar, 40 years of teaching experience, professional musical touring experience, recording engineering training and experience, vocal training, and extensive playing experience. Our training has been at Berklee College of Music, Regis University, University at Albany, and Bakersfield College.
