Long story short: always late, no communication, lazy, unprofessional, left holes and giant tree branches on our property Our first impression of Ravena fence was that they showed up an hour and a half late to our consultation without letting us know. He reassured us that the fence that his company would install would keep our dog in our yard. It was agreed upon that they would pack down dirt in any spot that didn’t touch the ground so that she couldn’t get under. We also agreed to pay an extra $200 for them to remove a bush and a panel of fence (although in our original messages he said it would be $100 extra in total) After we agreed upon a time for him to stop by to pick up the deposit, he didn’t show up. We met a few days later and he was late again. He told me that the fence would be delivered on a Tuesday, and they would work on it Wednesday and Thursday to have it finished by Thursday. They didn’t deliver the fence on that Tuesday, and I sat at home all day waiting without any sort of notice. Finally I texted him at around 7 pm where he told me that they would deliver it tomorrow instead and that the crew would start working at 8 A.M. Thursday morning and fence would now be finished on Friday. On Thursday, the crew showed up around 9:15 A.M. and left for a long lunch. They were gone for the day by 1:30 in the afternoon. When I asked Steve about it, he said that it was too humid of a day for them to work even though it was only 50% humidity When I texted Steve to ask when the fence would be done, he said that he didn’t know because they don’t work weekends. Then he said that he would let me know in a little bit if they would be working on Saturday. He never let me know. On Friday, they didn’t work many hours again, and we weren’t told when they would be back. On Sunday, we came home to Steve delivering more fencing to our house. It was uncomfortable to come home to him on an unannounced day, especially because he didn’t tell us that more fence needed to be delivered and he told us his company doesn’t work on the weekends. They didn’t pack down the dirt under the panels that didn’t touch the ground. In some places they made loose piles to make it seem like they did their job, but they didn’t. They also left the refuse from the bush in our front yard without cleaning it up or even cutting it into small enough pieces for me to be able to clean it up myself. They also left giant holes on our property behind the shed to try and fill in the fence without supplying the dirt that he said he would bring during our consultation. We are incredibly dissatisfied with our experience with Ravena fence and will never hire them again.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typical process starts with a free estimate. We will come out measure the property answer any questions you have. Once you receive the quote the next step would be to sign the contract and pay half down. 3rd step is to schedule a date and time. Once the job is complete we walk the fence and if it meets your expectations you pay the remainder of the balance and sign the warranty.
