What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new couple contacts me we can communicate via e-mail or telephone as they wish. We can set a time and place to meet to discuss the type of ceremony they would like. I then tailor the actual service to their particular preference.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began officiating at weddings after my ordination in 1997.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Religious and non-religious, straight and same gender.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure the priest or minister is respectful of your spirituality, and honors you by assuring you this ceremony is YOURS, not his or hers!
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Are wedding officiants open to the various religious beliefs of couples or are they inclined to force their beliefs into the ceremony. This is important! You deserve respect.
