- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is a standard pricing for the coordination and planning services, but florals are more customized. Coordination and planning are both priced based on number of wedding guests. Florals and decor are based on number of pieces but also on style and scope.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we have heard from you and understand the services you are looking for, we respond with a few questions to get the ball rolling. From there, we are usually able to give ballpark estimate that can be finetuned as necessary. We leave it to the client as to the next move of a phone or in person consult to talk about direction and to work up a contract. After a deposit is taken, we are officially your wedding professional and you are our client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My previous background was in landscape and garden design, where my love for florals and design developed into a desire to enter the event business. This has helped me a great deal with not only the design side, but also with the organizational skills required for wedding and event planning. Most of my experience has been self taught which is the case with many wedding professionals.
