My services run hourly and appointments are a minimum of 2 hours.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my client and what their goals are. Each student is different and will want to work on something unique to them. I walk each student through the project from selecting the pattern and perfect fabric to the final stitches.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I learned how to knit at summer camp as a young girl. Ever since then, the art of creation has been alive in me. As a senior in high school, I took my first sewing class and when I couldn't find the type or style dress I wanted to wear to my senior prom, I decided that I would make it myself. What a success! After that, I was hooked! I combine my degree in education with my passion for needle crafts to educate and encourage my students to find their own passion and style.
