2 Flights Up Dance & Game Studio
Introduction: We are the only dance and game studio in the Berkshires. We have 7 different line dance classes a week. Absolute beginners to advanced line dance classes. Jeannie Compter is our main line dance instructor at the studio and she has been teaching since 1989.
We have a big open studio for people that like to play all different kind of games from Miniatures to Monopoly, you name it we most likely have it. Our games days are every Thursday evening from 6 to 10 PM and every 3rd Saturday of the month from 11 AM to 10 PM.
We also rent out the studio for birthday parties for kids and adults. If you're looking for a meeting place and if we have the time slot open, we'll be happy to rent the space to you.
I have been teaching line dance since 1989 and I love teaching. I work mainly with absolute beginners to get them on the dance floor. I love to see a non-dancer become a wonderful dancer.
We love playing games and teach others how to play all different games.

I had attended 2 Flights Up for over a year. I had never even attempted Line Dancing, until Jeannie invited me one day for a Couples Dancing Class. After this class finished, Jeannie suggested that I try her Beginners Line Dance Class. I was hooked from day one and some people might say I have 2 left feet, but Jeannie and Tina made me aware that my 2nd left foot was actually a right foot. Once this was realized I couldn't stop going. Jeannie and Tina are absolutely AMAZING Dance instructors. I learned so much because of their patients with me. I cannot praise them both SOOO... MUCH! And what I found out was that Line Dancing is a blast and it really challenges your concentration. Any physical activity that exercises your body and your mind is OKAY with me. GREAT DANCE STUDIO !!!

I started with one class at 2Flights Up, then added a second, then a third and then a fourth! I LOVE the classes, the fun, learning something new, the exercise, and the personal attention given to each class member. I feel very comfortable there and have met wonderful welcoming people. I highly recommend this dance studio to absolute beginners and to those who already have experience with line dancing. There are classes for every level.

2 Flights Up is a great place!! I'm learning to line dance.. the classes are amazing! Jeannie is a superb teacher & always willing to go the extra mile.. the studio is real nice.. airy & lots of light.. btw Jeannie's smile/personality are contagious!! highly recommended by me..🤠

Line dance lessons. Relaxing, fun, no pressure or judgement, good exercise, nice people. And the music and the dances are great. The skill is very achievable. Just the best!

I've been line dancing with Jeannie at 2 Flights up for almost a year and a half. The classes are fun and welcoming for all genders, ages, shapes and sizes with great instruction taught with patience. I feel like I have a line dance family. There's plenty of laughs but it's also great exercise and good for focus and balance and definitely great stress relief.
