I loved working with Heather. I don't wear much makeup on a normal basis, and I didn't feel comfortable doing my own wedding for a makeup. My goal wedding makeup was natural, but hiding my blemishes and making me feel beautiful. I was referred to Heather by a friend, and I had a great experience. Heather responded to my emails/texts quickly, she offered a trial session with her makeup services and it was a very reasonable price. Overall, she made me feel very pretty, but very natural too. I also struggle with acne and acne scarring, and she hid it very well. She is great about making sure you get the look exactly like you want, and will spend time making sure you feel good with the way it looks. The makeup she uses gives a nice dewy glow, but I am was more comfortable with a matte finish and she found a nice finishing powder to meet my tastes. If I could do it again, I would work with Heather in a heartbeat.

Heather did my makeup for my wedding, and I couldn't have asked for anyone better! We did a trial run at home a few weeks before the event, and she listened to exactly what I wanted and all of my concerns. She's one of the most talented artists that I know, and I'd recommend her to anyone!

My friend had a SUPER last minute makeup need--we're talking the week of her wedding!! Heather was so accommodating and gracious about stepping in at the last minute to help make her day special! She even managed to squeeze in a trial run with such crunched time and everyone's busy schedule! The day of the wedding she was calm in our chaos and got everyone's makeup finished on time and looking beautiful! Several women in our group were not accostumed to wearing makeup and Heather was able to keep the makeup light and natural looking. Others had developed makeup styles and she customized to fit their needs as well. She was on time to both the trial run and the wedding day and was extremely professional. I truly cannot say enough to recommend her!

Though relatively new to makeup artistry as a business, I am a long-time lover of makeup and an established professional visual artist, focusing on portrait painting. So faces are something that I love and have really studied in many forms. Understanding the principles of face shape and proper skin tones translates so much into makeup.
