FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have 2 pricing programs for regular students (i.e. not in an intro program). There is a year minimum that then moves into a month to month setting that costs $129 per month. You can also go to the month to month without the year minimum, but that costs $149 per month. We give discounts for families, first responders (EMT, Firefighters, Police, Military, etc), and for senior citizens. We take $30 off for the second person and $60 for each additional if it's a group. We offer a 10% discount to families of current or previous military, police, firefighter/EMT - basically, any first responders. We offer a 10% discount to anyone over the age of 55.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We do an introductory period to start - $20 includes a uniform (wooden sword for Kendo), 1 private intro class, and 3 classes with our regular students. In that time, you'll know if you want to continue or not - most do. In any case, it's a very simple and low-stress way to get started.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been studying martial arts for over 20 years. I'm an internationally recognized black belt through the Kukkiwon for Taekwondo, through the IHF in Incheon, South Korea in Hapkido, and I'm in the process of transferring my credentials in Kendo to the SEUSKF. I attend continuing education through the SEUSKF and through the USAT for Taekwondo. This is what I do and I love to study and do it!
