FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project is different , and so our pricing is different. We don't want to charge someone for something they don't need. We sit down with each customer and determine their goals and what we can do to help them achieve those goals and price it out based on the amount of work it will take. And, we price it up front so that there is no hidden costs or confusion to what the final cost will be.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If we choose to work with you and take on your project, we like to schedule an initial 15 or 20 minute call so we can get to know each other better a little more, and deep dive into potential issues that we can help you solve in your business. Once it's determined that we are a good match to work together, we will schedule a series of calls (this could be one call or several) which are used to better understand your business in more depth to arrive at a solution. Once the deep dive interactions are complete, we will provide a solution and present to you a proposal for the work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been in the computer / I.T. field since 1987 when I was a Data Processor in the U.S. Navy. I was honorably discharged in 1994. From that point on I worked as a contractor for many large / small businesses (GM, Ford, Delphi, Chrysler, Mott Comm. College, etc.) doing programming and database development. It was around the late 90's when I got involved in building websites for corporate accounts where I learned HTML by hand, ASP, JavaScript to connect with Oracle and SQL Server databases. I also have training and many years experience in Graphic Design using Adobe Photoshop, Camtasia for video production & editing, Search Engine Optimization, and content writing & editing. From 2009, I've been applying this & new knowledge I've learned to help small to mid-sized businesses with their online presence and growth.
