What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Personal Chapter 7s usually range between $1500 and $2000 plus the filing fee (filing fee is currently $310). Chapter 13 bankruptcies usually range between $3500 and $4500 plus the filing fee with $1000 to $2000 due prior to filing with the remaining to be paid through the case (filing fee is currently $335). Business Chapter 7 bankruptcies range between $2500 and $3500 depending upon the complexities of the case (filing fee is currently $310).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically will give my potential clients a 15 to 20 minute free consultation so that I can ascertain whether I can help them. Once it is determined that I can help, I will forward a secure online bankruptcy interview to collect more detailed information so that I can assess the best course of action. Once that step is complete, I schedule an in office consultation with the client so that we can proceed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I obtained a juris doctor from Emory University School of Law.
