I called Air Handlers last year after my AC unit of 16 years started acting up and was not cooling the house efficiently. Their technician came out to my house and did a thorough diagnosis of our unit to find the problem. Our evaporator coils were leaking (which he showed me on his instruments just to prove he wasn't looking to make a quick buck) and offered a couple different options as far as fixing the problem. We agreed that the best solution at the time would be to try something called 'stop-leak'. This fixed the problem and gave us time to prepare for the inevitable. He could have easily quoted me on a new evaporator coil, but instead he looked at ways to fix the problem not replace it.
When my wife and I decided it was time to bite the bullet and change our unit, it was a no brainer to call Air Handlers. We decided on changing out the entire unit to a new more efficient model, and after I received my first power bill I can honestly say that it was money well spent. The entire process was smooth and flawless. I would definitely recommend Air Handlers to anyone looking for an honest AC company.

Lloyd at Air Handlers has done a number of jobs for us (installed a heat pump, re-routed ducts to improve airflow). This time, the float switch in our drain pan had quit working, and the pan overflowed. We called him at 8:00 AM and he was there by 10. He fixed the switch, blew out the drain line and checked our other unit. He is prompt, efficient intelligent at trouble shooting, and a genuinely nice guy. Highly recommended!

Drip pan overflowed and wasn't noticed until ceiling leak gave warning. Air Handlers was prompt in coming to fix the non-working float valve.
