Introduction: Earned her BA in Classical Guitar and her MA in Education. While in high school, Stacy started teaching private lessons to students in the middle school district through a program set up by her orchestra teacher. Since then, she has a vast amount of experience teaching across the country at various performing arts and music schools before settling in Denver in 2008.
Stacy enjoys teaching alternative rock, folk, pop, a little bit of country and is now diving into the world of electronic music. She's passionate about teaching the music her students want to learn while drawing them into proper technique and theory of that genre. She also enjoys developing songwriting skills in her students. My daughter (PJ) got her first guitar when she was 8 years old and we were lucky enough to find Stacy working as a teacher in the same shop. We thought we'd be happy to get some basics just to get our girl started. We got so much more in Stacy.
~ Stacy makes learning easy and fun.
~ As a musician, lyricist, songwriter and performer she demonstrates a passion for her art that sticks with my daughter to this day.
~ When my daughter wanted to try her hand at writing her own song where some teachers might wish to further their own agenda Stacy dropped everything to help PJ write music she could be proud of.
~ When PJ fell in love with some of Stacy's original music and wanted to cover a song in her talent show not only did Stacy help her learn and hone the music at PJ's skill level she showed up to the talent show to cheer her on.
~ Stacy not only brings her musical expertise to the table but as a professional musician making her way in the music industry she brings a wealth of insight into the business side as well.
Due to a finance change after our divorce I was unable to continue with Stacy but her impact remains as does a friendship between her and PJ that was forged in the kiln of creative energy, fueled with curiosity and playfulness and stoked with raw, gorgeous girl-power.
Stacy is a woman of integrity, an artist of great talent and a teacher living in her purpose.

I've taken guitar lessons from Stacy on 2 separate occasions, and she is the best - creative, friendly, talented, and flexible in her teaching methods. I would sincerely recommend Stacy!

Not only is Stacy a great musician she is a great teacher! So very patient with me. I also loved how encouraging she was with my daughter. Her love and passion for music definitely radiates.

Stacy is a great teacher. She teaches the kids what they want to learn, keeps them engaged and progressing in their skill level, flexible with scheduling, and great about make-up lessons. We would highly recommend her!

Stacy Price was my guitar teacher and she was an awesome person. She was so wonderful, sweet and understanding. I was so sad when I heard she was moving away. She was such an inspiration and I love keeping in touch with her.
