FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly rate for typical handyman work is $125 for the first hour, and each additional hour is $65.00 per hour. All additional expenses (materials, disposal, etc) are passed on to the customer without a markup. One free trip for supplies is included, and I charge $25.00 for each additional trip for supplies.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For larger jobs, we set up a time to go over the project and discuss the desired scope of work, timeline, and end results. I will offer feedback and put together an initial bid. Once the work is approved and design selections have been made, work begins. We focus on one project at a time, through to completion. For smaller jobs, I will get as much detail as I can, setup a time and date to start the work, and then show up and take care of the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked alongside master carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, and learned from tile and flooring professionals. I am also ICC A class general contractor certified.
