I am a co-owner of Maid on the Emerald Coast and I stand 100% behind all of my company's work. When we were hired to do this job the home owner requested a deep clean to which we agreed to do. When we arrived on the property the property was in such horrible conditions that it took my business partner over 9 hours to deep clean the entire property which was only 1000/1200 square feet. Ms. Deese explained that her mother had lived in the home for over 40 years with very little upkeep to the home during those 40 years. My business partner cleaned/scrubbed the house from top to bottom. She had to empty the vacuum canister 5 times from the excessive dust which had collected under the beds and furniture for years – the dust had to be physically swept to loosen it from the carpet before the vacuum could even pick it up. Every baseboard was sprayed, scrubbed and wiped down however the dust had settled on the baseboards for so many years that the massive amounts of dust had stained the paint - we were not hired to repaint and the only thing that could make the baseboards look clean is a fresh coat of paint. We used bleach and a high power surface cleaner but the stains were not removable because they were heavily stained. There were rat feces under the sinks and in the cabinets which we removed and cleaned, there was black mold growing around the bottoms of the toilets and on the carpets which we removed however a certified trained technician should have been called in. Every light fixture was hand cleaned and polished including all ceiling fans including the base, blades and stem of the ceiling fan. We took “before” and “after” pictures which I truly wish I could post to this message because the proof is in the pudding however Thumbtack doesn't offer photo upload. I even have a text message from Ms. Deese that she sent to me saying “the house smells and looks great” – another photo I wish I could upload for proof. This review just goes to show you that you can’t always please everyone however you can always be proud of the reputable company you strive so hard every day for with integrity and honesty!
