FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$115 for a 45 minute show. Children cannot sit still for longer than that, but if I am needed for longer than that, I offer to do an encore presentation for a discounted rate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I performed at the Comedy Club back in the 1990's, which taught me how to get over stage fright, and how to handle a bad situation when there is nowhere to run.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Watching Criss Angel, I wanted to know "How did he DO THAT?" I would purchase the trick, find out the secret, and get disappointed. I already spent the money, so I would play with the trick, and do it to my family and friends. My wife had a friend who's daughter was having a birthday party. I thought my show was terrible, but the kids loved it - cause they had nothing to compare it to. I was asked to come back to 3 different events that year to perform another show. Each show I did was slightly better than the last. Then I started changing my style from plain clothes streetman with a mafia edge, but realized kids know nothing about the Godfather. I performed as a clown and realized children are scared or just plain HATE clowns. Then a school hired me to do a Halloween show, so I thought I would go as a pirate. It was an instant success!
