FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Introduce myself, ask how their day is going, besides the plumbing issue. Ask general questions concerning the issue. Take the proper steps to finding the quickest/best solution to the problem. Inform the customer in what I've found, and let them know the options. Normally in plumbing you do have more then one option repairing (which can fix the issue 10 days or 10 years but is the cheaper route) or replacing (which will guarantee the fix to be longer then repairing but will, in most cases, cost more).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed the 4 year Maryland PHCC Program at CCBC Essex and Catonsville. Where I received my certification for gas service and backflow prevention.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Fresh out of my first semester of college and thinking to myself "Maybe college isn't for me." So I got a summer job doing plumbing, and the first week on the job I was hooked. I loved everything about it. From the chase of finding the issue within the plumbing system to the final talk with the customer. I enrolled in the Maryland PHCC Program the following semester!
