I was in trouble. Mr. Johnson came over and looked over my system. ARS said I needed a new system and they could financed it for $4400.... I did not have that in my budget! So I called Discount Air Condition. Mr. Johnson agreed with ARS and found where they shorted out the motor and blew the ignitor and some other stuff.... He fixed what they broke and replaced the blower capacitor, the part that was bad in the first place! I am glad I called 919-417-1307 for north east solutions!! I will always use him as my heating and AC service. He charged me $231 for a blower motor, a capacitor, a carrier ignitor (wire broken), a new filter and a gas valve! And he also apologized for what ARS did.... Yep! thank you!!!

Courtney from North East Services did some excellent work for me on short notice on a Saturday. My upstairs attic A/C system wasn't kept in good shape (by previous owner) when I had bought my home; one-day, water backed up in the A/C emergency pan and leaked through my ceiling. The next day (a hot hot Saturday), I located North East Services on Thumbtack and Courtney came by same-day after giving me a good detail estimate.
He diagnosed multi issues with my upstairs A/C unit: His thourough explanation gave me the peace of mind of knowing exactly what the problems were. There were multiple issues that Courtney fixed for me on his trip out: bad electrical connection on A/C fan, incorrectly mounted A/C water overflow shutoff mechanism (leading to ceiling damage), then he proceeded to clean out the A/C drainage hose and check the function of the A/C compressor outside (he added one pound freon).
I would recommend Courtney to work on your HVAC; he's skilled, articulate, and fair on price!.

Courtney from North East Solutions LLC came out on a Sunday, the week we got back from vacation (for which, during the time away, our AC went). It was quite hard to diagnose what the issue was but what I appreciate about Courtney is that he wants to be absolutely sure what the exact problem is before jumping in and replacing something that doesn't need to be replaced.
Me and my wife both work from home so it is imperative we stay cool during our work days. Courtney worked through the week diligently, providing questions and text updates of progress. I loved it. Many other service providers call you about every little thing. Courtney was concise and patient as he explained to me what he believed was going on & what needed to be done to fix and he even followed up if he hadn't heard from me (if anything changed at the house while he was away). He was an Absolute Professional.
In the end, Courtney came through 100%; he fixed our unit before a 100+ degree weekend was approaching. He even is looking out for us in terms of a part that needs to be replaced in the future, making sure we have it prior to warranty on the AC unit expiring. I will call no other guy for help in the future - Courtney is the REAL DEAL.
I can't recommend Courtney enough for your A/C and Heating needs: Excellent customer support ✓, reasonable prices ✓, and patience through the whole process ✓.

My 9-1/2 year old AC was not keeping us cool. Since I'm an engineer I did some troubleshooting and decided the problem was very likely a refrigerant level issue. Given the reviews on Tumbtack and his price quote I hired Courtney of North East Solutions to do a service call and check my AC for refrigerant level.
I was a bit concerned when he arrived not in a van with his company name painted on the side, but in a Lexus SUV. By the end of the service call those concerns were put to rest. He knew his stuff.
The quick summary is that Courtney exhibited the highest level of integrity I've seen for a long time, got the system properly charged with refrigerant, and I'm happy to say we've been enjoying our AC ever since.
The long story is that we had scheduled a 5:30-6:00 arrival time and due to delays with an installation he was doing, he didn't arrive until almost 8pm. He did text that he'd be late, but his estimated arrival times pushed back a couple of times. When he did arrive I told him the system used R410 (don't ask me why) and Courtney quickly went to work connecting his gauges and an R410 tank to charge the system. He quickly realized I was wrong and that it was an R22 system... not good. The system required a full purge and refill with R22.
I couldn't fault him too much. It was the end of a long day for him and he had taken my information at face value, but he amazingly took full responsibility for not double checking the system. He wanted to do the job for free (which normally would run ~4X the original quote for the R410). I insisted he take at least the originally quoted fee, he agreed on my insistence to take 1/2.
Courtney was knowledgeable and honest above all. I expect to hire him again for my next HVAC job. I would have given him 5 stars except for his inability to estimate his arrival time :-)

Great! Hallelujah! I am cool again! Mr. Johnson showed up the same day I posted my project which was awesome because we have a new baby in the house. He was on schedule. He got the AC working and he gave us a great discount and some advice to keep our system running at optimal capacity. A Big Thanks to NorthEast Solutions!! I definitely recommend this company.
