What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start with a 30 minute session just getting to know the student and their parents. I like to hear what the student is having trouble with and what they are looking to accomplish. Before the next session I like to have the student complete a pre-test so that I can gauge their understanding of the content. I like to look at the results before our second session so that I can see what skills we need to focus in on. Throughout the remaining sessions I like to continuously assess old concepts as well as go through new concepts.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I taught for 3 years in Connecticut.
