FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is usually per project, taking into account the time to create, use of the project (logos), size of the project (drawings, brochures, layouts), revisions, deadlines, etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Customer gives me a general idea of what they are looking for. I'll ask if there are any specific ideas in mind or if it's a wide open project. Email any photos, artwork, examples, and any other information pertaining to the project. I take this info and create a set number (normally 1-3) of proofs and email them to the client. They pick 1 option they want to pursue and I will do a set number (normally 1-3) of revisions to the proof before the final version is sent to the customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree in Illustration from Parsons School of Design, 8 years experience in large format digital printing, paper printing, and print design. I have the prepress knowledge of file setup for printing purposes. Also have been doing freelance work for 11 years working with other artists and designers.
