I called Restoration1 of Westchester from my basement standing in a pool water. Derek Gleason came right over to evaluate the situation and reassured me that everything was going to be “OK”. He began to evacuate all the water, ripped up the wet carpeting and placed driers and air movers through out the basement to dry out the wood and cement. He then did a mold remediation to prevent the growth of any mold.
My biggest surprise was when Derek said he would work with my insurance company replace the carpet and rebuild the wet walls, which were damaged and torn out during the clean up process. The basement was finished to perfection and the entire process was completely seamless to me, Derek handled all issues and communications with the insurance company. In addition his pleasant easy going personality was a pleasure to have around under so stressful a situation. I highly recommend Derek and Restoration1.
