On November 9th Mr Ruhl set up an appointment to come repair our furnace on Nov18th. The morning he was supposed to come he emails me and says "hello laura I'm informing you that you will need to have another company to service your furnace where you live is out of my area that I travel." No apology, no courtesy to let me know days ago so I would have been able to find someone else. Mind you it was a Friday and the start of the coldest weekend thus far. So we invested in more electric heaters took turns using them so we would'nt blow a fuse and scrambled to find someone else to come as soon as they could without being charged an emergency price. Thank God we found someone to come Monday who was prompt and fixed our furnace. We now have a nice warm home. Needless to say I will never rely on Thumbtack for any services in the future.

Robert was able to come out the same day (on a Saturday at that) to install my toilet. He did a great job, no issues. I am going to hire him again to install two additional toilets and three faucets.

After calling the usual Sears, and a few other name outfits to come fix our water heater ASAP, Ruhl's Plumbing & Heating answered the call. Robert and his helper arrived mid afternoon. They identified the problem with our gas water heater, and fixed it. They were thorough, making sure it functioned as it should before leaving. We are so very grateful for his prompt attention to our problem. We weren't just another number on the list. We plan to use his services again in the very near future.
